What is a vape pen?

A vape pen is a compact device that’s often shaped like an office pen and used for inhaling vapor on the go. Vape pens are essentially two components: a vape pen battery and a cartridge. Vessel offers the former portion - premium vape pen batteries. When you buy vape pens online, you’ll often see them referred to interchangeably as a vaporizer, a vapor pen, vapes, or a pen vaporizer.

Vape batteries for sale often range in size and can be priced all over the spectrum. For the best vape pens available, you’ll have to pay a premium. The extra money spent on a Vessel battery will save you the trouble of having to constantly replace your vape pen battery.

How do vape pens work?

As mentioned above, standard vape pens feature two components that make it work: a battery and a cartridge. The cartridge includes an atomizer which is the third piece if you want to get more in-depth. Those three pieces work together to heat up whatever substance is added into the device to turn it into vapor.

When the vape pen battery turns on, and you engage the button, the atomizer heats up the substance. Whatever concentrate or herb is in the atomizer turns into vapor.

However, not all vapes are created equal. Each vaporizer pen model varies in terms of its features, operation and design. Vessel has premium design and functionality features making them the best vape pens for sale online. Look no further when you’re buying a vape pen.

The size of the mouthpiece can actually determine the resistance level of every hit you take. Some more modern vapes have options that can control the power creating longer-lasting batteries. All of which are important to take into consideration when you’re purchasing a vape online.

Vape Pen Types

Just like how the best vape pens come in all shapes and sizes, there are also different vape pen types to consider. How you choose the vaping pen for you really comes down to what kind of substance you plan on using it for.

Concentrate vape pens are what people might typically think of when it comes to vape pens. They are also known as vape pens for dabs which are concentrated extracts from plant materials. More often than not, dabs come from the cannabis plant and are interchangeably referred to as wax or dab wax. THC and CBD are the most commonly used substances with concentrate pens.

To vaporize oils properly, Vessel vaporizer pen batteries are tuned perfectly to ensure the oil or wax is not overheated. This allows for a vape pen that creates the best tasting experience, preserving the valuable terpenes in the oil.

The pros of using concentrate vape pens are that the wax is very potent and you only need a few hits to start feeling the effects of it.

Other types of vape pens available are dry herb vapes. These vaping devices vaporize dry cannabis. This type of vape pen can be difficult to use because it involves some experimentation to figure out how much vapor production you want, frequent refilling of dry herb, and the need to dispose of the vaporized material.

How to use a vape pen battery

No matter what kind of vaporizer battery pen you use, the best vape pens are all very simple to use.

First, make sure your premium vape pen battery is fully charged. Then you want to load whatever substance you’re using (dry herb, concentrate or wax cartridge) into the vaporizer device. Next, click the vape pen five times to turn on and wait a few moments for the atomizer to heat up the substance. For some vape pens available, including Vessel, a certain number of clicks will also adjust the power output of the battery.

Once it’s heated up for a second, put your mouth over the mouthpiece, keep pressing the button and inhale the vapor into your lungs. Then, release the button and exhale.

It really is that simple.

How to clean a vape pen

Just as it’s important to keep your vape pen charged and ready to go, it’s also crucial that you keep it clean. If you’re using it regularly, you should clean your vape pen at least once a week to ensure the device’s longevity and that it maintains a solid working condition.

If you have a dry herb vape pen, you first need to remove the heating chamber from the device. Then, empty out all of the ashes into a trash bin and proceed to wipe out the chamber with a q-tip or small cleaning brush. Most vape pens will come with a cleaning brush to use.

If you have a concentrate vape pen, the most important thing to remember is to not wet the interior of the heating chamber at all. A q-tip or the dab tool are the best tools you can use to rid the chamber of leftover wax or concentrate residue. The outside of all vape pen batteries can be cleaned the same way: by wiping the external surface with a cotton cloth.
