One-hitters have been a fan-favorite smoking vessel for centuries. They're the perfect size for getting a good toke in one draw, make zero mess, and are discreet enough to fit in your pocket. It's no wonder why these nifty devices have been around for so long.
Vessel's latest creation of the one-hitter family is Cone, an elevated take on the classic smoking utensil. Its sleek and compact design is a nod to the joint and a step up from your average one-hitter. If you're looking to take your smoking game up a notch, Cone can take you there.
What Is Cone?
Cone is a modern take on the one-hitter, designed to deliver an effortless and efficient smoking experience. With the same patent-pending, double helix design you've come to know and love from Vessel, Cone filters and cools smoke with each draw. Its ergonomic shape makes for a comfortable grip while simultaneously giving you a tighter pull for your dry herb experience.
The result? A smooth and satisfying hit each and every time.
How Is Cone Different From Helix?
If you've been a fan of our O.G. one-hitter, Helix, you'll love Cone. Both devices use our patented double-helix technology and are in the same collection family, but there are a few key differences that make the Cone unique.
Similarities
Let's start with what you'll still be getting. Much like with Helix, Cone:
- Uses our patent-pending double helix design for a seriously unreal combination of filtering and cooling.
- Is made with non-toxic brass for superior durability.
- Creates a stickier, debris-free filter the more you use it.
Differences
We've taken what you love about our classic design and upped the ante with a few more features that make Cone a one-of-a-kind smoking vessel. You can expect:
- A new, conical shape and slim profile that's easy on the hands.
- To enjoy a tighter pull (and a more intense flavor).
- The same size you love without the heaviness, as Cone is 25% lighter than Helix.
- A wider bowl. Cone can fit anywhere between .3 - .4 of a gram (whereas Helix can fit between .2 - .3)
This updated design gives you the same great taste with a more intense experience. So if you're looking for big clouds and flavor with every hit, Cone is here to help make it happen.
How To Use Cone
Using Cone is a fairly straightforward process. All you need to do is get your favorite dry herb or cannabis blend, pack it into the bowl, light up, and take a draw. But if this is your first one-hitter experience, follow the steps below for the best results.
Step 1: Pack Your Cone
Start bygrinding up your favorite blend with a grinder. You'll want to use just enough herb for a single hit. Once it's nice and fine, pack it super-duper-tight in the bowl. Leave no room for air, so you get an even burn.
Step 2: Light It Up
Once you've packed your Cone, light your herb at a slightly tilted angle. This keeps your cannabis from falling out of the bowl before you take a draw. Remember that one-hitters (including Cone) are notoriously short and small. So be sure to keep the flame away from your lips.
Attention to heat: Avoid using a torch as a replacement to a lighter. The heat produced from the flame using a torch is higher than that from a lighter. In order to prevent any damage, use a lighter, like Vessel’s Carbon that is a low-temperature adjustable candle flame that is recommended to be operated with high performance butane.
Step 3: Enjoy The Ride
Now it's time to take a hit! Put your lips on the mouthpiece and inhale slowly, pulling the flame towards the herb as you do so. As you pull from your Cone, the double helix design will start to do its thing, cooling and filtering the smoke for a smooth and satisfying experience.
How To Take Care Of Cone
No one likes a dirty bowl. Just like any other smoking accessory, your Cone needs a little love from time to time. If you want to keep your one-hitter in tip-top shape, there are a few tips and tricks to keep in mind.
Clean Between Sessions
Between each session is ideal, but if you can't, aim for once a week at the very least. This will help keep your Cone looking (and tasting) like new.
All you need to rinse out your Cone is a little DIY cleaning solution with products you likely find in your kitchen. Here are a few options:
- Isopropyl alcohol:combine alcohol with hot water and salt in a Ziplock bag. Completely submerge your pipe, shake the bag and rinse it out. You can leave it in the bag for an hour or so, but leaving your Cone in there for too long can strip its color.
- Boiling water:Warm up your pipe and submerge it into a pot of water over the stove. When the water starts to boil, remove the heat and let it cool for 10 minutes. Rinse out your Cone with hot water, wipe out any remaining residue with a cotton swab, and you're done.

Store With Care
Just like any other smoking accessory, Cone should be stored in a cool and dry place to keep it clean and free of any mold or bacteria. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or a humid environment, as this can cause discoloration or even warping of the material.
While Cone is more durable than other one-hitters on the market, it's not indestructible. So don't leave it out in the open, loose in your pocket, or anywhere else where it could get damaged or lost. Instead, store it in a small box or container when not in use, and you'll be able to enjoy those flavorful hits for years to come.
To Sum It Up
Cone is a simple, effective tool for getting the most out of your dry herb. Whether you're an old-school fan of one-hitters or just looking to experience something new, this device is sure to deliver a smooth and enjoyable smoking session every time.
So if you haven't given it a try yet, what are you waiting for? Grab your Cone and get puffing!
