"The dugout was a pocket staple back in the early aughts. This is a sleek, solid interpretation of that old classic. Holds plenty of flower, the brass poker is indispensable, the closure is secure. The only thing missing in this modernized version is the little spring that would gently propel the Helix upward when the box was opened. . . . though that would introduce another potential point of failure. I get it. Unfortunate that the beneficial helix accessory, Axis, is not bundled as it apparently makes the whole package function better."

"I’ve been using dugouts for decades, and the Helix has finally solved the problem of Scooby snacks. It’s definitely a premium, bespoke piece — my only gripe is that the bat is a bit heavy, making it tricky to use one-handed when you’re shielding your lighter from the wind. Other than that, it’s absolutely awesome!"
