"I'd recently submitted a very long winded review of the Dugout where I went to great length explaining why Vessel really needed to make, well, THIS Product. I literally received an Axis launch announcement email from Vessel a day or two after my review. As expected with all things Vessel, it's a direct replacement that fits any Helix (it fit both of mine). It makes loading the Helix via the dugout way easier. Much improved. My only very minor quibble is how it fits compared to the standard bowl attachment. Note the gap (see pics) with the Axis compared to the standard bowl. It's more an observation than a criticism. I did wonder if I had screwed it in all the way or not when I first attached it. The gap has it's advantages to be sure, I just wasn't expecting it. Otherwise, my Helix dugout rig is complete and I'm very pleased with it!"
"If you are using the Helix with the Dugout, buy this now! My only complaint with the original fitting on the Helix is that flower gets stuck in the grooves, which makes it a little harder when twisting the pipe to pack inside the dugout. The Axis solves that issue! Makes packing your bowl a breeze!"
"The Helix Axis is a nice upgrade option. That being said, it could still be revised further. The flatter tip is nice, but with the texture or knurling removed, it's difficult to remove from the Dugout. The end or tip is flatter, and thinner, but I find it is still not the easiest to pack. All in all, not bad, but can be tweaked even further in all honesty."
